I switch out my wind chimes for the season. I have sunshine themed chimes for the summer, chickadee bird chimes for the winter, and clay flower pot wind chimes for the Fall season. Clay pots, all abandoned and stacked in a corner of the planting shed, remind me of harvest time. Stringing a series of clay pots together seems natural to celebrate the sights and sounds of the Fall. The gentle clanking of little clay pots sound as warm as they look. You and your little ones can paint the clay pots with your favorite themes, or leave them natural. You can even wash up a few used ones, for a real natural look. Now when you’re sitting on the porch, sipping apple cider, you’ll be reminded of the first day of spring, when you got your clay pots ready for planting, and the harvest you just got to enjoy.
