Have you ever had a Cricut product? There are so many things these amazing products can do. Sometimes it can be confusing to start. What follows is a beginner’s guide to using the Cricut products. But be aware of the fact that Cricut is easy to operate.
Cricut Cartridges are very easy to use, and very important. The cartridges can be substituted with ease. The Cartridges offer two kinds of options – letters, or pictures. If you want to do cool stuff with shapes, look no further than the picture cartridges. For aesthetically interesting work, these Cartridges are great. And reading over the Quick Start Guide will probably clarify things. But no one can deny that Cricut Cartridges are great devices.
Turning the Cricut Machine on is next. The 6 foot long power adapter cord comes in the box, and plugs in the back under “Power.” The machines also have USB ports. The Cricut keyboard matches up with the Cricut Cartridges. Once you press it, a cut is done. The Cricut machines all have their own cutting mats. The Cricut has an easy to locate ON button for once it is plugged in. It can be found on the front-right part of the machine. This will enable the LCD screen to start functioning. Please take note of the fact that the Cricut Expression is absolutely in keeping with the machine described in this guide.
Third, put the transparent keyboard overlay on top of the keypad mat.
Now, you will put in one of the Cricut Cartridges. Now, you are almost ready to go. It is important to make sure that the Cartridge and keypad overlay are consistent with each other. If not, there will be dire consequences.
You have to get rid of the protective covering which will be covering the Cricut cutting mat. Next, you just need to get your paper ready to be cut. You are ready to cut!
The Cricut keyboard is really not so different from a computer keyboard. The big dial on the side of the machine controls the size of your cutouts. The Cricut keeps track of all of these things, and shows you your settings on the LCD display. If you want to print on new paper, simply push the cutting mat with the paper on it into the paper feed slot, press “Load Paper,” and hit “Cut.”
